6 Flags Parks
Six Flags is the largest regional theme park company in the world. It has over 20 destinations in North America that includes theme parks, water parks and zoological parks. Last year, almost 34 million guests spent a combined 250 million hours at Six Flags parks.
Seven Parks Sold
Six Flags announced on January 11, 2007 that 7 six flags parks have been sold. These parks will no longer be under the six flags brand but may still be open for business. The 7 parks are: Six Flags Darien Lake near Buffalo, N.Y.; Six Flags Elitch Gardens in Denver; both Frontier City and the White Water Bay water park in Oklahoma City; SplashTown in Houston; Waterworld USA in Concord, Calif.; and Wild Waves and Enchanted Village in Seattle.
